Have you heard of the Modern Toilet Diner in Taipei? I can't believe that this place actually exists...and that people actually EAT here. To me, it sounds like an idea that a group of friends comes up with (possibly while slightly inebriated), and has a good laugh about, but never actually follows through on. Well, unfortunately, someone followed through on this one.
At the Modern Toilet Diner, customers sit on glass-topped toilet bowls, while sitting at glass-topped wash basins or tubs, and eating out of small toilets--either Western-style toilets or eastern style "squatty potties."
