I have a dog named Boo. He's a 70-pound black lab/border collie mix. He's big and he looks threatening, but one thing he's not is vicious. He's really nothing but an overgrown lap dog.

I've often wanted to get a sign just informing visitors that there's a dog on our property, but I've HATED that the only signs available were those ugly plastic or metal "Beware of Dog" signs. Those signs are just not always appropriate. I especially laugh at people like my neighbor, who has a tiny shih tzu mix that couldn't hurt a fly, and then a "Beware of Dog" sign in his window.

Well, now there's a company that's producing signs that are more appropriate...and a little less threatening. Dog In Yard makes really attractive signs that simply convey a the message "Dog In Yard", without conveying a message of threat or fear. I much prefer this method!
